Uddhav Thackeray is an Indian politician and the ex-Chief Minister of Maharashtra, one of India’s most populous states. He is also the leader of the Shiv Sena political party, which is primarily active in the state of Maharashtra. Uddhav Thackeray is the son of Bal Thackeray, the founder of the Shiv Sena.

Uddhav Thackeray began his political career as a cartoonist for the party’s weekly newspaper, Marmik. He gradually rose through the ranks and was appointed the party’s working president in 2003. In 2012, he became the chief of the Shiv Sena after his father’s death. Under his leadership, the Shiv Sena has formed alliances with other political parties and has contested and won elections in Maharashtra.

As the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray has implemented a number of welfare schemes and policies aimed at improving the lives of the people in the state. He has also been vocal about environmental issues and has launched initiatives to address pollution and promote sustainable development.
